Dr. Mohammed Fakiha is the founder and managing director of Fakiha Consulting. He is a strategic brand management and marketing strategy consultant, experienced market researcher and brand auditor.

Dr. Fakiha empowers his clients to build powerful brands through contemporary strategies embedded with scientific processes and a focus on brand storytelling. He has helped many brands and businesses uncover their brand equities and develop effective brand-equity management and measurement systems.

With over 15 years of academic and practical experience in business and marketing, Dr. Fakiha possesses a wealth of industry knowledge. Prior to Fakiha Consulting, Dr. Fakiha worked as a Marketing Management Tutor at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, Marketing Head at Yves Rocher France, as well as eMarketing Manager and Acting Brand Manager at Savola Group-Panda Retail Company.

Dr. Fakiha’s formal education spans almost two decades and includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Marketing, Strategic Brand Management at RMIT University, Master of Business and Information Technology (MBIT) at University of Melbourne, and Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) at King Abdul Aziz University.

While undertaking his PhD, Dr. Fakiha developed a thesis titled Understanding Brand Story Conceptualisations: Brand Practitioner Perspectives. Dr. Fakiha’s thesis responded to the need for empirical research on the brand story concept. The major outcome of this study is a practitioner-led brand story (PLBS) conceptual model that expands and unifies meanings surrounding the brand story concept and explains how the concept is being developed by modern brand decision-makers. It also offers an empirical tool which brand managers worldwide can use to integrate brand story into their brand strategy.
